No. When all the work is finished, you may want to know if your home, child care facility, or school has been cleaned up properly. One way to check is a lead-dust test. Lead-dust tests are wipe samples sent to a laboratory for analysis. You have the choice of having a lead-dust test done by a lead professional or doing the testing yourself. If you choose to do the testing, some EPA-recognized lead laboratories will send you a kit that allows you to collect samples and send them back to the lab for analysis.
